A little look behind the scenes at a pretty perfect weekend at the Festival of Food & Drink.
This one was extra special for us as it was our first ever Channell Events-owned festival, and we couldn’t be prouder of the weekend we created with an incredible team around us.
There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes of an event like this — early starts, late finishes, working with chefs, traders, contractors, performers and suppliers, solving problems as they happen and making sure everything comes together for visitors to enjoy.
And we absolutely love it. ❤️
We love events, we love working with brilliant people, and we love seeing months of planning turn into a busy festival full of people enjoying themselves.
So… could Channell Events help with your next event?
Whether you need support behind the scenes, event management or a team to help bring the whole thing together, we’d love to hear from you.

What a weekend! 🧡
As the proud owners and organisers of the Festival of Food & Drink, we would like to say a huge thank you to every trader, visitor, chef, performer, partner, supplier, contractor and team member who helped make this year’s festival so special.
The amazing comments we’ve received from both traders and visitors have meant so much to us. Months of planning, hard work and care go into creating this event, and seeing Thoresby Park filled with happy faces and people supporting fantastic independent businesses makes it all worthwhile.
We can’t quite believe that next year will be our 14th year!
