Gloucester Quays is a fabulous historic location nestled between the bustling city centre and the Quay’s major shopping outlet which is home to some of the world’s top brands.
We’ve been delivering events for over six years in this amazing space including the fabulous Gloucester Tall Ships, the Gloucester Food Festival, and the much-loved Victorian Christmas Market.
Things have been a bit different this year but with the support of our amazing traders, suppliers and the Channell team we’ve brought the monthly Orchard St Market to the Quays. The market is a fantastic mix of gift and craft traders, delicious street food and bars, plus yummy foodie products from local artisan producers.
And the good news is we’ve managed to sprinkle of a bit of event fairy dust and we’re back for an extended Christmas season!
Over seven weeks from 6-7 November to 18-19 December, the market will return with additional stalls dressed in festoon lighting for that Christmas feel, plus live music, street food and plenty of opportunities for Christmas shopping. The ice rink will also be on site, helping to attract even more visitors to the markets.
November: 6th and 7th / 13th and 14th / 20th and 21st / 27th and 28th
December: 4th and 5th / 11th and 12th / 19th and 19th
Saturday: 10am – 6pm
Sunday: 10am – 5pm
Gloucester Food Festival last ran in July 2019 with a host of special guest chefs and over 150 traders including delicious food, drink, street-food, bars and treats. An incredible weekend rounded off with live music in orchard Square, DJ’s and Gin-School.
A number of our regular Orchard St Market traders are already booked in for the Festive markets so places are filling up quickly. Our market stalls (3m x 2m) provide great weather protection for our stall holders and we position all our traders so they can maximise their opportunity to sell their fabulous products.
If you are interested in trading at any of the markets please email us with photographs of your products, stall set-up and any social media/website links and we will forward you the booking details.
We would encourage you to book as early as possible as demand is exceptionally high!
